Ridge Lane Farm

The Ridge Lane produce bundle is a blessing to our family on multiple levels! The first and most important is the affordable access to organic, local, and seasonal veggies. Second is the convenience of picking up the bundle at Pasture Haven when I pick up my milk, cheese, and eggs. Third: I have saved so much money at the grocery since starting this bundle. Because I am getting my dairy and veggies all in one place and from local farmers, this means all I need from the store are my flours, oils, and grains! It minimizes my grocery list, and reduces the likelihood of me buying random things because I’m going to the grocery less. It has also given me the push I needed to get creative in my cooking based on seasonal produce instead of buying the same things every week from the store! For the winter bundle I’ve learned to ferment beets, cabbage, and carrots, and garlic. I’ve learned to appreciate eating beets and parsnips where I would otherwise avoid them. And I’ve learned to create nutritious and simple meals because we have lots of veggies that need to be eaten before the next Tuesdays bundle! We can’t wait to try the spring and summer bundle."
